Tony, for all the carping that was on the Atlas Forum regarding the new Bachmann SD40-2's, they look fine to me! Especially for the price, I ready to give one a spin!

Here is a picture of Bachmann SD40-2 CSX This engine is a real smooth runner and very quiet. Comparable to a Kato-only quieter. Only needs some small details like mu hoses. I would recommend this engine to anyone looking to purchase a new SD40 version
