Eye level pics and video's are always cool. What did you use for a camera?

Cool video Brian. I picked one up last weekend for 2 bucks, for the Union Pacific Plasser. These little units are a favorite mine, and I owned an Amtrak one many years ago. Never did run it as a track cleaner, with only one powered axle it wouldn't even make it around my track once. Mine is missing a traction tire, any recomendations?

Hahaha, Amtrak trance is trippy! Always wanted a Plasser. Love the cityscape on your gigantic layout to.
Take a picture of your camera car please, if you can Brianstyco. I'm also curious to see how it works.

Thank you all for the comments. My camera i use is a Canon Power Shot A560 in video mode with macro on. The camera is just sitting on a Tyco flat cat - Western Maryland and I also use an ATSF flatcar. There is overhang from camera on car - so if i am running dual trains - they have to be in same direction or camera will get knocked off. Can't have anything close to track or camera will hit. I use trance instrumental tracks - most seem to ge with video - while everyone may not like - the ones who don't can just mute as there are train videos of others i like - but don't like their music selection so i mute as i watch . The sky sscrapers are from Bachmann Kibri and Faller. I used gold and chrome posterboard from Hobby Lobby to simulate mirrored glass found in real sky scrapers.

Caboose rip track...
Your developing scenery...
...personally, I've always enjoy in progress shots over finished scenery.

Forgot to mention - The layout in video was torn down when i was foreclosed on back ion May 2010 - everything is now in storage - all track was ripped up and put in a large sealed tub. I left the layout table as i had no where to move it to. I will one day in the future build another -but as long as this economy keeps sinking and no jobs or work being created - it is n't going to be anytime soon. I have taken one severe beating from loosing 50% of my income per year for last 2 yrs. Sorry for doom and gloom - it is reality for me and many others. I am still working which i am thankful - but i am not getting ahead - hanging in there though and enjoying this ride best i can waiting for it to get better

Camera on a flatcar - simple idea that works well. I like it.
Sad to hear your layout got dismantled, Brian, but it's good to hear it will be back one day and I hope things improve for you in the coming months. We avoided recession down here but I look at you guys in the northern hemisphere and shake my head.
Those Bachmann skyscrapers you mentioned are to be re-released soon, if not already. I will most certainly get some... when I have the space.

tykpwolf - The Bachmann skyscrapers are nice and easy to build compared to the Kibri models. I painted mine with Krylon paint. I used Krylon Stone fleck paint for one and Krylon Beige for the other. I painted the window mouldings Krylon flat black before installing. I didn't know they were re releasing - Awesome!! - You definitly have to get them - the footprint is not too big on a layout - Things will improve - none of know when that will happen though
