Ok fellows - went to pick up those trains today - A pick - up load full -see pic below. There is some more stuff to go back and get - magazines etc in totes and plastic bags. All of the items have been in storage since 2002 when her husband died. She broke down in tears as a photo of her husband was in an open cardboard box of structures. She is a senoir citizen and lives alone on a pension and 20 hrs a week. My goal is to help her get the most $$ for her late husbands train items as she needs the money and who deosn't right now. I told her my service to her would be free and any of the items that have value I will ask for it. There is one tote full of what appeared to be mint in box assorted Ho Scale trains. I am excited as what i will find - There will be some good deals i can tell you. There is one tote also full of track -Tyco tru steel and a ton of brass - will confirm more on sunday as i have not had time to go through all totes. I will be fair to any forum member who is interested in anything i may post - it will be on a first come basis which i will base on the individual who sends an email through the Tyco forum as it will have date and time sent. i will reply back to all but please remember i work a full time job during the week - so reply may not be instant. This will be my first time doing this on here also. Again there is a lot to sort out and the lady thinks there may be some more in her house. There are a ton of magazines that i have to go back and pick up - One tote full of old MRR appeared to be 60's -80's from a glance
My truck full of HO trains

The layout her late husband began building - going back to salvage track - all Atlas code 100 with remote switches - all mine and won't be sold - sorry it also has a powered Atlas turn table

I'm interested in Vintage Brass (Suydam, Kidder, Gem, Alco models) and metal (Hobbytown, Mantua, Varney...) locomotives. Probably only afford one if there is any but let me know...

LOL, I saw that coming. Me too!
I'm looking for a few of the Life-Like Billboards which you mentioned you have. In particular I still need the Welches, Kool-Aid, Froot Loops and 7UP. That's off the top of my head.

I, aka. "The Train Show Scrounge", will buy just about any rolling stock manufactured prior to 1970, that I don't already have. Looking for some structures, such as houses, 1950's design or earlier. Ambroid kits.

Everyone - Thanks for you requests - here goes - I am beat - after 8 hrs with the help of a friend - this guy had a lot of older stuff with some new. All of this was is storage since his death in 2002 -so all of the trains are all the way back to early 70's and up. A lot are in nice AND OR NEW MINT condition. There is quite a bit of everything - NO VARNEY - BIGBOYS - OR BRASS - sorry Romcat. There is one Kato RS model in southern paint. The front truck gear seems to be stripped as shaft turns but wont turn wheels - back wheels turn fine and motor runs great- this is an early version KATO. There is so much to list - it is going to take a while
FOR THOSE WANTING TRACK - TON OF TRACK BRASS - I HAVE A TON OF BRASS TRACK ALREADY BOXED- AHM ATLAS TYCO. 4 BRAND NEW SWITCH TRACKS REMOTE CONTROL ATLAS - 2 LEFT 2 RIGHT - THERE 30 AND 45 DEGREE CROSSINGS A WYE TRACK POWER TRACK CONNECTORS SMALL SNAP SECTIONS - ALL IS NEW OR LOOKS NEW - OVER 100 PCS 18 RADIUS CURVES AND 9 INCH STRAIGHTS - MORE AHM AND ATLAS THAN TYCO
TYCO TRU STEEL - MORE THAN APPROX 50 PCS OF CURVE - STRAIGHT - RE -RAILERS - CURVED POWER RE-RAILERS 2 REMOTE SWITCHES - NEED A LITTLE CLEANING - TRACK LOOKS NEW SOME MAY NEED A LIGHT CLEANING ON RAIL TOPS - SOME IS MADE IN AUSTRIA - OTHERS YUGOSLAVIA AND SOME HONG KONG. THERE ARE SOME SMALL TYCO SNAP PCS AND I/8TH RADIUS SWITCH TRACK CURVES - OVERALL CONDITION OF TRACK IS GOOD TO EXCELLENT
LIFE LIKE STEEL TRACK - AROUND 20 PCS APPROX - MAINLY CURVES - 1 45 DEGREE CROSSING
ON THE BOX OF BRASS - I AM ASKING $35.00 WHICH INCLUDES SHIPPING CHARGE FOR US BUYERS - CANADIAN BUYERS ADD $5.00 ALL OTHERS OUTSIDE US - WILL HAVE TO GET A QUOTE TO YOUR LOCATION AND AS YOU KNOW IT ISN'T CHEAP EITHER -SORRY NOT MY DOINGS THOUGH - THIS IS A HEAVY BOX AROUND 5 LBS!!
ALL THE OTHER TRACK I HAVE NOT WEIGHED OR BOXED YET - IT IS JUST BUNDLED UP - TRACK QUANTITY IS APPROX - I WILL GET EXACT AMOUNTS LATER IN WEEK - NO NICKEL SILVER AT THIS TIME
STRUCTURES - TOO MANY TO LIST INDIVIDUALLY - I AM GOING TO GROUP MOST INTO LOTS - NOT ALL WILL BE POSTED ON HERE AS SOME ARE GOING TO EBAY - THERE ARE 2 TYCO ARLEE STATIONS ASSEMBLED - BOTH NICE - 1 TYCO OR AHM FREIGHT STATION - HAS BLUE COLOR ON IT AND IS EARLY 70'S - 1 LL KFC - NO SIGN - AND SO MANY MORE LOOK FOR PICTURES OF LOTS I WILL POST ON HERE OR HEADS UP ON EBAY LISTINGS
THERE IS A FAIRLY LARGE QUANTITY OF ROLLING STOCK - AHM BACHMANN TYCO OLD ROCO - SOME I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH AS POLAROID CAR WITH POLAROID COLOR GRAPHICS - HAVEN'T DECIDED IF I AM GOING TO KEEP FOR MYSELF OR SELL. - I HAVE ONLY KEPT A FEW THINGS FOR MYSELF IN WHICH I HAVE PAID THE LADY FOR AND IS MINUSCULE COMPARED TO WHAT IS LEFT TO SELL
LOCOMOTIVE - ASSORTED TYCO AHM BACHMANN STEAM AND DIESELS AND A FEW OTHERS - NONE WILL BE LISTED UNTIL I GET TIME TO TEST THEM AND CLEAN THEM AS ALL NEED WHEELS CLEANED FROM GLANCING AND SOME LUBING
ROYAL BLUE - I HAVE 2 CHATTANOOGA SMOKING STEAM LOCOMOTIVES - ONE IS BROWN TOP #1261 AND OTHER IS #638 - BOTH MOTORS RUN EXCELLENT - TRACTION TIRES NEED REPLACING ON 1261 AND 638 HAS BOTH INTACT BUT PROBABLY NEED REPLACING - CAN NOT ADVISE ON SMOKE CAPABILITY THOUGH AS I DIDN'T TEST NEITHER FOR IT - YOU HAVE FIRST DIBS AS I THOUGHT OF YOU FROM AN EARLIER CONVERSATION - IF NOT INTERESTED -OTHERS MAY BE LET ME KNOW ASAP THROUGH PM - IF ANYONE ELSE IS INTERESTED IN THESE ALSO PM ME AND I WIL LET YOU KNOW OR IF SEVERAL ARE INTERESTED - I WILL MAKE A SEPERATE POST STATING WHO GOT THEM BASED ON PM RECEIVED FIRST . 1261 IS MISSING RIGHT SIDE AND PILOT CHROME RAILING ON BOILER AND MISSING FRONT PILOT WHEELS - DRIVE WHEELS /RODS TURN FREELY ON BOTH LOCO'S. -638 IS HEAVIER THAN THE 1261 VERSION - 638 IS DEFINITLY OLDER VERSION AND COMPLETE WITH ALL RAILINGS And bell - bell is missing on 1261. ALSO ON 1261 - HEADLIGHT IS CENTER AND 638 -HEADLIGHT IS ON TOP OF BOILER FRONT
DACHEESE - I HAVE AN ATHEARN COMPLETE AMTRAK TRAIN - POWERED A UNIT DUMMY B UNIT AND AN DUMMY A UNIT AND I THINK IT WAS 5 ATHERAN AMTRAK COACHES - IF INTERSTED PM ME AND I WILL SEND PICTURES TO SEE IF YOU WANT - IT IS IN NICE CONDITION - I DON'T THINK ANY OF THE COACHES WERE LIGHTED - NO TYCO COACHES - ONLY OTHER COACHES WERE A SET OF LIFE-LIKE SOUTHERN WITH AN NO ROADNAME IN SOUHTERN COLOR
MB - NO 7 UP PLANTS - I DID FIND A FEW OLD LIFE - LIKE POLE LIGHTS - I WILL SEND THEM TO YOU FOR FREE - SEND ME YOUR ADDRESS - THESE ARE UNTESTED BUT APPEAR TO BE IN WORKING CONDITION PM ME FOR BILLBOARD CARS IN SPECIFIC
NYC - PM ME FOR BILLBOARD CARS - I CANT REMEMBER HOW MANY THERE WERE IN BOXES OR WHAT WAS WRITTEN ON THEM I DON'T THINK THERE ARE ANY OF THOSE YOU MENTIONED - I WILL CHECK TOMORROW AFTER I GET HOME FROM WORK
RED NECK JUSTIN - YES - COULDN'T LIVE W/O A TRUCK - COULDN'T HAVE HAULED THIS IN MY WIFE'S NISSAN ALTIMA OR OTHER MIDSIZE CAR - FORD CROWN VIC OR CAPRICE -YES
JERRY = PM ME
NC SHORTLINES - YES THERE ARE SOME HOUSES I REMEMBER SEEING THAT ARE 50'S ERA -PM ME - I WILL HAVE TO DIG THEM OUT OF ONE OF TUBS AND GROUP TOGETHER TO SEE WHICH ONES YOU MAY BE INTERESTED IN AND SEND A PIC TO YOU

1 silver streak - runs great - chrome is faded - good project loco - SFGP20 - don't know if it runs - SF f unit mu powered unsure of running capabilities - 2 chattanooga smoking locomotives -both run - one is #638 and the other 1261 - 1261 missing some chrome railings and front pilot truck and bell - 638 is complete and heavier than 1261
