Does anyone remember seeing a coastal layout that sat on top of bookcases? MRR had one of their books in the '80s that featured a 4x6 main portion and a 2x4 extension that had a fish cannery. It was a beach theme- complete with lighthouse, hotel. passing track, inlet, and refinery.
I was wondering if there was a link to it somewhere.
Does this strike a bell for anyone?

hey There:
I know the one you mean, "The Kitty Hawk Central" pages 38-50 in "Practical Guide to HO Model Railroading"
Don't know of a link though. My copy is an eight printing 1997. Hope that help?

Hey Ken:
Yeah makes sense. All the layouts in those "feature" books are gleaned from earlier MR articles....
