The TF Railroader News April 8 2010
Transfer and initial test runs have been completed on the pair of decapods. They were transferred from Pennsylvania's Frankford Roundhouse to Catford. Catford London Roundhouse Chief Engineer Catford Ken has said initial test runs are completed with positive results. This pair of Hippos soon to be joined by a L1 mikado and H9 consolidation will help relieve the power shortage on main line freight service. The presence of these engines will provide local railfans with many moments seeing these powerful locomotives working with and alongside British Built Bulldogs. It will be a sight to be seen.

Repeat of the first post from this nice idea of fantasy reporting of your railroads. Thanks to Frank and Ken for starting this wonderful idea fourteen years ago. Still open to all members to post their railroads in fantasy settings. Include any model clubs as well.

The vintage trains are finally all in the Bergen Point area for the annual gathering of vintage steam power.
This one is now running excursions til the New Year's weekend.
The cold wind does not bother the passengers.
The three car set is filled to capacity with happy guests on board.
The train passes Maplewood New Jersey on a bright sunny afternoon. Many thanks to PGW president Frank Toptrain with smooth operations. Pristine planning to have all those trains negotiate the complex terminal area. And maintaining regular commuter service for that busy area. He makes it look easy with decades of experience.
