To all those friendly to me here at the Tyco forum, I can no longer speak of Bergen Point and the large railroad facilities there as home, for as time has changed the real locations my most recent layout though in Bergen Point west of Constable Hook where Captain Henry Hudson sailed his Half Moon to and anchored in the sheltering lee of Robins Reef to row ashore and be greeted by the local Lennie Lenape natives in what would become Bayonne, all this must be put aside as the new layout speaks of places like Mauch Chunk, White Haven, Rock Port, Penn Haven, Walnutport, Catasqua, Mine Hill, Ashley, and down river places like Laury, Allen's Town, Bethlehem, East Town, and Phillip’s Berg on the Delaware River. The landscape on both sides along the genital, pleasant Kill van Kull has grown river gorge cliffs. No longer do the Hackensack and Passaic Rivers waters flow through this kull but now the at times raging floodwaters of the Lehigh River now flows here. Yes, my layout has been changing. It is for you to say if it was for the better. frank

I've enjoyed riding on those coaches, usually in narrow gauge. Maine and Colorado, to be exact. A standard gauge coach in Vermont, and in Maine, as well. The ability to relax and absorb the beautiful scenery made for wonderful journeys to which I desired to return to again and again.
I see these and think often of Abraham Lincoln, who was the original "frequent flyer" of 19th century rail. He traveled untold thousands of miles in carriages such as these.

I love the rubble bordering the edges of the trackway, giving this a most distinctive look. The yellow rock formations have a striking resemblance to ancient pyroclastic flows, known as dells. Marvelous photography and an interesting little dog train pedaling across the desert.

The Ephrata Valley Railfan, after getting a new camera since the previous one was destroyed by a certain Reading RR "Consolidation," is back, and captured a shiny Pennsy F45 slowing to a stop near the Schuylkill Valley Station.
A little later, Santa Fe "Warbonnet" GP38-2 #3560 was seen stopping by the West Norriton Junction, with a short freight train.
