They certainly are arriving in droves to Bergen Point the center of the universe during Christmas season.
PGW power heads a five car set in paradise.
Another picture perfect day here in the Garden State.
May be cold outside but rail action brings warm feelings for us all.
This train came from Minneapolis Minnesota a place even colder than here.
Will arrive at Bergen Point in one hour as she passes Califon New Jersey. Many thanks to PGW president Frank Toptrain with smooth operations and pristine planning to have all those trains negotiate the complex terminal area and maintaining regular commuter service for that busy area. He makes it look easy with decades of experience.

They take advantage of the excellent service of the PGW rail network and its meticulous tracks.
Also enters Califon New Jersey with a full load of passengers. More trains will arrive with just less than two weeks to go.

Great action photos Jeff. There were capacity crowds on that Baltimore and Ohio train. The extra car came in handy when it arrived at the interchange.
Did not see any vintage trains today. Did catch a PGW Patriot engine though.
A matching caboose as well for this colorful set. Seen at Washington Falls New Jersey.

*** Richie you have outdone yourself. **The train has just left the ferry depot on the Hudson and is heading uphill to pass down through the "CUT" to pass over the large drawbridges on the Hackensack and then the Passaic Rivers. It is now passing "Point of Rocks" on the river side of Bergen Hill, heading for the Newark depot and west to New Brunswick, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington, and points South.

That is a most fine Penn Central set. I am not sure I have seen those coaches with the red lettering, before, I think mine are white. I will have to check. Also, of interest, is the number of "vacant" windows- I seem to recall more "passengers."
