Ditto to that, WKS. This place is like no other and I look forward to it all the time.

Here in El Paso, we got some of our PCC trolleys back. They were retired in 1974,
and somehow escaped the cutter's torch, being stored in a vacant lot outside of
town. They got a restoration, and I got to ride a couple a few weeks ago. Lovely
ride, and a very close to authentic restoration job.

This little video is an ode to trolleys everyhere:

Magnificent array of color and equipment, WKS. Spring has sprung!

The year is 1976, and there is a crossover of old and new power
on several lines, including the newly formed Amtrak. The CN power
was seen near Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada and the Amtrak in Vermont,
upon "The Montrealer."

Due to heavy ridership, with automobile owners abandoning their cars
in droves, to take advantage of the convenience and relaxing pleasure
of the train, an Amtrak switch engine was pressed into service as an extra.
