Barry, Lehigh Valley really made one colorful locomotive. Actually 2 identical ones were made to pull the John Wilks. I just had the Rivarossi copy of it. The ones they made for the Black Diamond was very similar but different. And again they made two identical locomotives. Any other streamlining they did for other name trains were not so elaborate. In fact, few streamlining parts were added to the locomotives used to run any of their other trains. I wouldn't even call them streamlined. IHC made a copy of the LVRR loco Isa Packer which only had a piece of sheet metal along the locomotive walkway.

Nice scenes, wks! Love them all, especially the man loading a crate into the Burlington Route box car. toptrain, that Red Flagged military unit is awesome, and nice silver switcher, Chops!

Here's the latest TF Railroader News post, from the Ephrata Valley Railroad:

BN RF-16A Sharknose #415 hauls a small freight unit of 4 hoppers and an Auto-Loader filled with new HO cars, past the Schuylkill Valley freight Station. Luckily, those hoppers have been cleaned, or else, the auto dealership would have some coal-dirty yet new autos on their hands.

** A truly momentous event is spontaneous occurring at the 22nd street station. It seems to be centered around New Haven 0-4-0t Teakettle #60 and the newly arrived Photographic car. It is stopping all rail traffic in the area.

• *Benito the Bandito” the Scourge of the West”. Has presented to his most favorite Amigo and sidekick Snoopy the sneaky photographer, a photographer laboratory car. I do think that maybe, even likely or possibly Benito has come by this car in a not to honest, or honorable manner, for not a minute after giving the car to Snoopy he rode off into the sunset, very quickly. Shouting’ a-mi-go, re-mem-ber to hi-de the carr-rr-rr! This truly philanthropic gesture by Mossier Benito will always be remembered as a most generous of gifts.

• * Snoopy has always been a well-liked man. When Benito screamed out “Come and see Me Amigo Snoopy and see the special pitcher taking car I have given to hemm.” Everyone from all around has gathered to wish Snoopy well. Even some of his equestrian friend’s “emergency locomotive teams 2 and 3” came to wish him well. The mean and nasty engineer Bad John has rolled up NYC 0-4-0t #20 to where he can blow the whistle loudly to disturb the event. Snoopy never takes his picture so he doesn’t like him. Snoopy’s others friends Burney and Benny the bulls have taken very aggressive postures and intend to back up Bad John and stop his interference with their friend Snoopy celebration. Meanwhile, Lenny, the lantern wager is signaling John to backup #20, and Gabriel the Goose wants the snip at Lenny’s leg, He is just one nasty goose! Lenny’s dogs Spot ( the larger all black dog) and Meany( the little brown yelper) chase the goose. O-My, If only Patrolman Casey were here to control this event.

Redwoods - love those SP SD9's!
Chops, nice billboard car consist! I especially like the Bazooka Bubble Gum and Hershey's cars!!
wks, that steamer photo is iconic, and what a great rear view of a passenger coach. By the way, love the elaborate old-style open coach.

Here's my offering to the TF Railroader News:

Union Pacific F7 #537 wearily stops in front of Nazareth Crossing, with a load of piggyback cars behind it, all bound to be returned to the truck terminal.

A short train of redwoods logs makes its way over a spindly steel bridge on the Redwoods and Pacific R.R.

Although this area has been thoroughly logged, there are still plenty of trees up the river.

A Sunset Limited dome takes on ice and water near Union Station in El Paso.
Without the AC on full blast, the passengers would quickly wilt in the torrid sun.
