For the Mantua Tyco crowd, a Mantua Tyco Alco Century 430. No box and the couplers are Kadees but in excellent condition.

So there is a local rail to trail nearby my house that use to be a PRR branch. A few months ago they erected a historical marker along the trail along with pictures. In the picture of the location where I was standing there was a Alco FA-1. I thought cool don't see them mentioned often I didn't know they were common around here (found out later they were very common around western PA). So on a whim I decided to look on Walthers to see if they had any FA-1 models. I've seen the PRR one before but it was out of stock. Well guess what was on sale that day?

Its a trainline, I got it new for 30 bucks which I didn't think was bad. Can motor with a single flywheel, AWD, and all wheel pickup. My friend has a few of their GP's and they have always run like clocks. Finally got to try mine tonight and it didn't disappoint, very happy with it. Whats cool it looks really good next to my Metal Train F7, its just to bad their gearing doesn't match up so I can't run them together.

Nice locos fellas. The Alco FAs are really nice in PRR. Got to start looking and saving for those. The C430 does have correct lettering and number style
