Newly released video of Amtrak train colliding with a fire truck PARKED on the crossing. What were they thinking? OOOPS -they weren't. Video is from Amtrak locomotive

Wow- I haden't heard about this. I live in Dearborn and have taken that train to Chicago many times. Once during the 1980's on the way back we hit a pickup truck at a crossing. No one felt a thing. The train stopped and backed up. The front of the truck was tore up. Luckily the driver was not injured. I guess the front of the truck was just a little too close to the track.
