its certainly sad to see locos being broken up,but where would it go if every loco that had been made was saved,we lost loads,but thank god some were saved,ken

Ken's right, but it's still sad to see. Some of those are still running are they not? I know the Ottawa Central was running one fairly recently, along with a number of RS-18u's. Not sure if it's still in service though

Hey Cheez:

I understand that the CNR has bought out the OC and has scrapped or pulled all the Alco's from service and replaced them with standard CNR units.

I just googled it, and according to wikipedia you are correct That would explain why I haven't seen any of the Black and Yellow units for a while.
