Hey Gareth, I too, like the LL oil company. Of all of the kits I've had in the last 40 years, that's one I have never owned. I'm sure it is a good one though! Snipe a bid!!

Hey Walt:

Amazon is selling them for around $16! Bizzare huh!?

I'm glad you like them, me to. Funny what we like isn't it!? No figuring it and in that, beauty can be found. Funny world.

Gareth, It seems like LifeLike offered a two very similar kits using the same pieces. The National Oil had two of the big storage tanks, and in my mind there was if I'm correct a "southern Oil" kit?

Maybe someone on here will verify this or correct me if I am wrong.

National Oil Kit, with two storage tanks, is still available by Walthers/Life-Like. My LHS has a batch of them on the shelf. $9 is their current sale price with Walthers and most online retailers.

The Southern Oil Kit, which only has one tank, is the original kit. They're cool little kits with enough detail for small spots.

I like mine too!
