I have a very fine Rivarossi 2-8-8-2 mallet engine that I have had for years .The other day I tried to run it and it would not run the screw thet holds the valve gear hanger and a wire to the moter was missing on the front truck . Anyone out there have this screw or know somecne that may have one.I looked the part # up on a diagram for this engine # 55 valve gear hanger screw ( p-160-019-0025) I hope someone can help me out Thanks Jerome

I don't have the exact screw (Rivarossi made more screw types than any model train manufacturer I've ever seen ), but I might have one that would be a substitute. I'll have to check later. Rivarossi's machine screws are 2.6mm in diameter, so if you can scrounge up any that size, it should work. Home electronics often have metric screws in them, so if you have any old equipment I'd look there first.

No problem, Steve. Yours was more critical because it was also the hinge pin for the front engine.
Jerome, I actually have the right size screw. I think it was the hanger screw from one of their 0-4-0's. PM me if you're interested.
