I got this bicentennial switcher with some of the other Tyco bicentennial cars. However I can not find any markings. Does anyone know if it too is Tyco or have any other info? Thanks!

That engine was released in 60's so it's not a bicentennial item, but as far as the paint scheme goes, I *think* it's stock. Here's the Tyco Resource page...of course yours is the only one not pictured XD

I'd bet someone painted the red in '76 or before

thanks dacheez; that still answers some of my questions. the red matches that RCA job; maybe it is just an all american type paint scheme; done with no connection to the bicentennial.
