not sure yet ken quote from this site is below http://tlacanada.com/TLA/OTS%20Tools.htm The CMX Clean Machine Track Cleaning car This is one of the best track cleaning devices I have ever used. These pieces of rolling stock can be used with special liquid track cleaning products, just plain old 99% isopropyl alcohol or, if you really want to kill some brain cells, acetone. They can be used with the fabric provided or with something abrasive if your track is really in rough shape.
They can be run by themselves behind or ahead of a locomotive or in a special work train (if your locomotive is a good puller - they are heavy). Until this product came along, I swore by my ganged Centerline track cleaners, but this has the advantage of being able to be used in both directions without any fuss or bother.
These are available in unpainted brass @ $125.95.
I began to do these up with a company service number just because it seemed to me that it was not right to have something shiny and bright operating on a working layout. The price on the one in the picture was $185.95. (We do these up in CPR, CNR or other road names on special order.)

Ken:
have you seen the Rapido Oh So Steany Steam generator cars? They clean the track as they go and are beautiful example of prototype modelling?

Got my steam car in CNR `54 scheme yesterday. Also grabbed a True Line Trains CPR Wooden caboose in the original block lettering scheme. Price was under $30 from the original $44.
Where did you order your steam cars from ken? $97 delivered is a terrific price. I'm curious as to what the CPR used...
Probably gonna grab a Rapido FP-9 with sound. Did you say Ken you were gonna get one?

Hey Ken:
So you're gonna wait for the FP-9' to make it to eb? Likely be a lot of competition for them for some time to come!?
