Hey Ken. The ballast spreader looks like a good idea...I'm not sure I like how much ballast it's getting on top of the ties though

The track aids would definitely be useful. Any idea how much one of those costs?

on evil bay the three are going for about $30 here in uk try your version of evil bay might be cheaper ken

OUCH O_o $30 seems like a lot for that one little tool. I don't see any listed here on ebay.
