Lionel did a diecast HO model of the "Veranda" Gas Turbine a few years ago, before they got sued by MTH or someone else about its sound system. It was and still is quite pricey ($500 neighborhood last time I looked a few motnhs ago) but isn't too hard to find.
Overland Models did a fancy-schmancy brass import of the GWB 4141 - complete with wood case and display box. If you've got a spare, few grand lying around.... [:0] I'm not aware of a plastic version. Perhaps Overland's "Tower 55" (plastic) division will get around to it someday.

hi goingincirclez,i have a few of the unusual locos dd35 and 40 and saw this gas turbine, regards the gb not to worried, will wait ken thanks ro your reference tower 55 found this out on their site UP Turbine Project Update It is with great regret that we have chosen to cancel the Union Pacific 3-Unit Gas Turbine project. Quite simply the project cost to create the molds and accurately detail all turbines is terribly expensive and incredibly complex, more so than we anticipated when the original announcement was made.

The 4141 was done in O scale. A friend of mine (who is a staunch Republican, imagine that...) got one, and decided he wanted to RUN it on my O scale layout[:O] [:P] I run 40 inch radius, and that beast wouldn't even begin to go 'round on my layout. I did, however drool a lot. Made my Weaver and old F9s look like crap

I've seen the wood case for the George Bush 4141 loco...I wanted to have one to put my TYCO Golden Eagle in it...but feared such an act might bring on armageddon. [:o)]
Tower 55 has announced a plastic example of the George Bush loco...however it's anyone's guess as to when it'll deliver.
That's an SD70ACe model I believe and Tower 55 has said they're doing a plastic SD70ACe and they've announced the various Union Pacific Heritage Series (CNW, DRGW, SP, WP, Mopac, MKT) for this model.
Here's the info from Tower 55's site regarding the George Bush 4141 Tower 55 offering...
Union Pacific-George Bush 41 SD70ACe #4141 f/p Air Force One scheme RETAIL PRICE: Explorer: $299.00 Pioneer: $259.00 Licensing: EMD and UP Scale: HO Scale Model Status: Future Model ETA: Early 2007 Models Available: Explorer (Comes with DCC/DC and SoundFX from Digitrax) Pioneer (DCC ready; No Sound)
