2009 was a busy time for me!

We have a new baby, work has been busy, had a clutch replaced in my Trans Am (hobby car), work was really busy, then Christmas... and New Years. Now, getting my taxes ready for Caesar.

So, I've had little time for any hobbies. When the weather gets better, I'm planning on re-spraying one of my US-1 trailers.

However, I've been keeping up on the posts here. Looks like y'all have been busy here too!

Thanks Brian!

I got that trailer re-shot with Testor's lacquer. I decided to tear the finish down to almost the plastic before I reshot it.

I had a problem with some dye, perhaps leftover from the P-I-E letters, bleeding back through the paint before. I also decided to take it down so I could get the sides flat. It turned out really nice. However, the paint on the cab- which was painted a year ago- has shifted color a bit.

The cab seems to have a different hue now. Perhaps I'll end up re-shooting it too if the trailer doesn't cures to a similar color. BTW- the truck cab never sat in the sun. It sits in a cabinet out of the light.

We'll see.

The color issue is not that unusual...paints take as long as 6 months to fully dry and harden, so unless it was a drastic shift, the other will match in time.
