Here are pictures of The Mt.Holly NC train depot - former P&N.

CSX tracks - tracks to the left go to Duke Powers RiverBend power station and on to McGuire Nuclear station /Cowans Ford Dam -Also Duke owned. track in the right toward bridge is mainline CSX


CSX mainline looking towards MecklenBurg County. The bridge is over the Catawba River


This view is looking at newly installed signals from former P&N track that connected to the Seaboard which is now CSX. It is still active today carrying local and frieght into an dout of the Charlotte CSX yard. It parrallels the main line into the Charlotte NC yard

Really nice pics Brian. There's a station like that near Williamstown WV that was once an LHS. The snow is a nice touch.

Im glad you took the opportunity to photograph the P&N in the snow! It really adds to the charm and character of the road. I got a kick out of the bridge. Notice the V shape members on top to clear the catenary! Thx for posting these

Cool pics Brian. That looks like it would be a good scene to model. The snow definitely enhances the shots.

Alco Fan, DaCheez , LoopNHook Thank you for comments. The bridge is CSX mainline looking toward Mecklenburg county on other end over the Catawba River. The station was restored years ago - have apicture of it from 1985 wil find and post.
