My area recieved over 3 inches of rain in about 6 hrs time - This bridge is close to me that is in video link. High winds claimed the life of a local woman In Dallas NC around 2:30 pm est when a tree fell and crushed her and the car she was driving. We have had 30mph winds most of day today - hope the rest of you have had a better monday

Hey Brian. It was pouring here today. 4C and rain is something we almost never see here in January The center of the streets were flooded, and the shoulders were ice. Not good conditions for walking in O_o (something I had to do today)

know what, notwithstanding the storm, that looks like pretty country. now me I live in a metropolitan area the size of the greater Chicago one. It ain't so pretty!

However come September, go north and west not so young man! Up on Lake Superior. Oooooo fishing 5 mins away! healthy fish, no mercury.... mmmmmmmm good walleye!

Stay dry Brother Brian!

I like the "COIT" cleaning commercial before the second video advertising "Water Damage Cleanup" ... talk about product/service placement.

Let's see, it looks like they had an older bridge spanning the river next to the new one. Gives me a modeling idea (the abandoned bridge supports, not the flood). Around here, when the water is that high on the bridge, they close the bridge. All it takes is one good piece of debries to knock out a section span (I've seen it done) and one stupid motorist. :^)

I like caffeine and a chainsaw ...
