I promise I'm not nitpicking for the sake of rivet-counting, because these are really very cool, and I'd like to have some.
But, I DO find it very interesting that they're pairing brand-new container liveries with trucks that would be pushin' 30. Not something you're likely to see in any case.
I sorta hope this means Athearn might be returning to its former "one size fits all" mentality. Give the riveters and modelers stuff they'll appreciate, sure, but keep the costs down by amortizing tooling with even more roadnames that people can't but help themselves to...
(Of course, "keeping costs down for the consumer" is as pieskied a fantasy as universal healthcare, good pensions, and honest CEOs nowadays...)
