Does anyone make an H.O. scale guide with pictures of the various trains from over the years. I have seen lots of Lionel guides, but would really like to see a Tyco book or H.O. scale book. Looking at the different websites is Ok, but still not the same as a book.

Hi Russell. Unfortunately there is no single book or source for all the HO available over the years There are a number of Guides on some of the more popular Brands. Greenberg's made a Athearn, Lionel HO, Varney, Marx. There is also a Athearn guide by Tim Blaisdel & Ed Urmston Sr. There is a Gilbert American Flyer HO By Gary Klein. But, Unfortunately all of these are out of print. There are Walthers catalogs from past that helps in identifying. Most of these can be found on eBay from to time. In regards to Tyco, Lifelike, Pennline, Bowser and other brands the only information is the catalogs they printed and articles and ads in Magazines. Now Thanks to Tony's Tyco Resource and HO seeker's Websites, We can share the Information. So now all you have to do is visit their website or post a question here to get help in finding an item or identify one. There is many years of Experience and Knowledge here. You will always have someone here who can help and are also interested in teaching others with the Hobby. Carl
