Merry Christmas! I hope everyone is safe in the winter weather. We're expecting 8+ inches of snow for Christmas day. I finally managed a picture of our Christmas train:
It's not much, but now that my wife's hooked I think we'll do more next year.
I should add that it looked better when we set it up....unfortunately the cat has been using it as her playground for the last few weeks.

Well, the madness is over. We got 10 inches of snow and lost power from 2:30 AM to 11:00 AM Christmas morning, but it all worked out. No trains for me, but my daughter got this loco and matching caboose:
It's just a cheap Bachmann I got off ebay. In fact, the original motor ran poorly so I had to swap the frame with another I had sitting around before I wrapped it up. Cheap locos usually run to fit her personality too...she either wants them turned off or running full throttle.
As you can see, we're running an improvised tabletop layout. Christmas presents and other stuff keep getting piled in the way.
