HUGE thanks Tony! I never would've found Tyco or this forum if it hadn't been for you. I can't imagine what my layout/collection would look like if I'd never seen your Tyco resource

EXACTLY! My dad and I had a talk just last night about how much FUN it is because there's a TOY train. He gets tickled to death about the phrase "rivet counter." Toys are not investments. No slight to anyone who enjoys investing in these - that is fine, but personally I PLAY with my toys like I did years ago. We've bought toys for our nephews like those we had when we were kids, and they are not necessarily cheap, but they DO last. It will be 33 years this Christmas that I've had my Tyco train stuff. ALL of it still works. I might have replaced a missing wheel here or there, but it STILL WORKS. Thought I had a broken Rock Island Line loco, but it STILL WORKS. Just a little maintenance thanks to those of you on this site! My Santa Fe switcher which is older still burns it up on the track! It can haul about a dozen cars.
I've been putting together the squoval (rectangle with round corners) for the first room in the train house - brass track still does work with that original Tyco power pack!
Thank you for the resources to get me back on track and getting ALL of the Tyco items I always wanted as a kid - Tony and everyone else on this site!
