This made me laugh pretty hard. You may have to pause it, because the dialogue and subtitles move fast.

I found this to be in very poor taste. The 20+ million people the Nazi party killed, are not laughing.

I think the point of the video was humor. We've all known people who are overly dictatorial about trains. The polite term is rivet counter - and worse from there. It's not actually about the Nazis.

I apologize for being a buzzkill. I feel that the Nazi's should not be used for comedy. Just my opinion, don't let that affect other discussion on this thread.

OK, the whole "subtitle the scene from the movie 'Downfall' " meme has officially jumped the shark.

Seriously, if you search on YouTube, there are probably HUNDREDS of these for any fly-by-night and forum-joke topic you can think of. They've been around for years. Never thought I would see a model railroading one though... that was fairly clever. Not nearly as brilliant as a few others I've seen though.

And yes I agree it has the element of poor taste to it, but when something takes a life of its own online, there's little you can do. The internet of today is virtually BUILT on poor taste.

I agree with you about the internet Tony....

The best moment from Jurasic Park....

Everyone is so concerned if they can do things, no one stops to think if they should.

I have removed this post and offer apologies to all who saw the original... I have no excuse other than to suggest that this old man has reached the point where the mind slips a gear now and then!

Funny; yes. In poor taste; yes.

Most good jokes are anyway, just let your funny-bone take over!

For those who do not have a sense of humour, make mention that it offends you. Do not preach to the rest of us what is funny and what is not. We each see things differently, and most of the time don't take things seriously.

You better not watch the Comedy Channel,

Mike

..or Seinfeld, for that matter. Boy, I posted this and didn't log on for few days, not realizing what I'd started. I know this probably would have been pulled from the Model Railroader forum, so it was in the back of my head that it might not be appropriate content. Still, I was more concerned about the language used, given that Hitler and Nazis have been fodder for mockery for years.
