My favorite haunt has reopened! And I found these today:

That's the first time I've ever noted a road # variation on a Tyco item. Also, note the variation on the lettering placement in the CP Rail herald: #9208 is closer together. You can tell they're both genuine by the telltale "sponginess" of the graphics.
I don't know which is more common since I've never paid much attention to these before.
I also picked up a third one - I want to strip the Pacman and make a decal to put it on the END of the car like it should be, to see if it looks any better.

Aren't some of Tyco's Canadian engines known to have different road numbers also? In the topic on the CN GP20 recently, mine and Ken's CN GP20s both had different number sizes/fonts. Maybe its a Canadian thing.[:D]

Many engines (not just the canadian ones) have been seen with different number sizes and/or fonts, as you point out... but the numerals themselves are the same.
Those boxcars are the first Tycos I have ever seen where the actual numbers (numerals) are different.

| I know that different engines often had different number sizes/fonts, but there are a few engines that were made with different numbers. One example would be the CN engine on the F-9 page. It shows two different numbers on two identical engines.

Ah yes, I forgot about the F9's, good catch. Again that's not a Canada-only thing, as the Penn Central ones have been found with different numbers. I think there are a handful of C430's with number variations, too - penn central no less comes to mind again.
But rolling stock? Still a first for me....
