Aristo-craft imported New One models years ago, and I think their most common (and crumbly) loco was the Camelback. I have their 0-8-0 switcher, and the side of the box identifies that as the Royal Blue 4-6-0.

Where did you pick up that one? It's a shame it's missing the tender and main rod, but the castings look fine. The tender may have disintegrated over the years.

Hi Ken. New One is Part Of the Aristo-Craft Line of Trains Imported in 1950's - 1960's. They also imported Rivarossi and other trains. They were located in Newark, New Jersey USA also the line was sold at Polks Hobbies in New York. Later they were sold by AHM. The New One line was a nicely made engine but, were prone to diecast disintegration. Hard to find intact engines. Your Engine is called the "Royal Blue" Here is a picture from the catalog. You can see what the tender looks like.

Looks like Nelson and I posted at the same time.
I had trouble with adding picture.
