Does anyone know what the TYCO font (Brown Box era) was based on?

I've done my own graphics by hand - there are some fun things like TYCO branded cars & locos, maybe a TYCO factory that I'd like to build.

I was thinking of having "Tyco" badges embroidered up, here in Canada and seling them at cost on the forum... Likely use the older "Red box" era logo though...

Be careful with that idea though, don't stick your neck out too far. Another forum I am involved with had a member fork over some serious coin for some custom cars based on the number of people who said they wanted one...only half of those folks came through when it was time to cough up.

While I would love to pick up one of those patches, finances alone dictate the opportunities for me, so I never promise to purchase when I have no idea what money will be like at the time of purchase..

that's why you get everyone to pay up front, then order.
