Yep, twin shaft, 12 volt motors are needed. Being a diesel guy, nice flat sided motors are a must. See how much something like a Canon EN22 costs. Also look for any of the flat sided twin shaft Mabucci motors. I found a seller on ebay who is selling the smaller FK-130, but not the more useful larger motors.

I haven't bought any myself, but I was just reading someone's review of them, and he said they're almost as good as a Mashima, and that he's bought dozens and never had a bad one. Micro-mark has them on sale at half price from time-to-time, and that's the time to buy them.
