Tis the season to start decorating for the holidays so I post this Christmas custom car by BriansTyco. Now I need to set up a layout for the Christmas tree.

Here's another from the auction lot I got Friday. Like my loco, it's a Fleischmann. Other than that, I have no idea what it is:

As you can see, it needs some work.
This auction lot will give me things to post for weeks to come. I promise more Tyco in the near future.

That is the infamous Fleischmann Bread Machine car. In trying to keep up with Tyco and their wacky operating equipment they were desperate to try something totally off the wall. Something is missing from your auction, you should have also received one of these.

Pour 1 oz into each of the compartments and shake well. Be careful not to spill any, it will ruin just about anything it gets on. Once you've prepared your Bread Machine car, run the car around the layout 4 times and the car car will spit out a loaf of bread. Obviously you're new to the hobby. Anyone who's been playing with trains for more than a year can spot a bread maker from a mile away.
It's nothing more than a tank car. Those are 4 seperate tanks, each able to function independently of the others.

LOL...very funny. I feel the sting of sarcasm there. Perhaps I should have worded that differently. OBVIOUSLY IT'S A TANK CAR, but I don't know anything about when it was made or exactly what it was used for. Whatever you say about it, I think it looks pretty cool.

I had no doubt you knew it was a tank car. I don't know much about that car at all. You don't know me well enough yet. If I find an opportunity to throw some good humour out there, it's gonna happen.
I agree, it does look cool. Tyco's breadmaker didn't even hit the production line.

Oh, I wasn't offended...quite the opposite. We need some humour* here. Don't worry about me. I can take a joke as quick as I can give it.
*"humour" seriously? 'round here, we spell it humor.

I actually have a Tyco to show off, and I think a pretty sharp looking one at that. Picked this up on a whim at the Greenberg show today.

Boy, I really do need a spell checker. Not only did I misspell humor but I misspelled cement, somehow it came out tanker.

Hey, that's how the Commonwealth spells it! No spell-check required!

Hey Alco Fan! That's a neat looking boxcar! That gives some ideas on what to do with some undecorated cars. BTW, I just picked up a '59 Ford Fairlane today, like the one in the picture. And in the same color as well.

Thanks fellas. The Fairlane is really nice and BriansTyco deserves the credit for the car.
