me & a buddy went out today & i took a crap load of pictures. the bridges are in what is called weavers bend which is in greeneville, tn. it's up in the mountains next to where i live. the river their crossing is the french broad. the open bridge is about 250-300 yards accross, & other steel bridge is about 150 yards wide. i waited for one of the NS coal trains but it never came. oh well.

Michael Myers, that was my buddy roger, he ain't right. i climbed into the truck & was looking out the window & when i turned around he had that mask on. to be honest, he kinda startled me for a split second. rogers like me, he's a big dude.

my camera doesn't do those places justice. it was beautiful.

Fabulous pictures.... well, most of them. The truss bridge was very interesting. If and when I get a layout I think I might look at your pics again to get some scenery ideas. Especially, the ones near the end.

i'm wanting a truss bridge like that myself. the only bad thing is it would be nearly five or six feet long, thats a lot of room. it would be awesome though. i'm not sure on how i'll do my layout. i do O & ho scale. my room is only 14'x14'. i want to seperate them somehow on two different tables.
