Found this K4 slideshow today on youtube. Was surprised by one with elephant ears! Nice sound too. - Erich

Haha, I like that one!
To me it looks like a little kid trying to impersonate one of his big brothers.

Nice slideshow. That was one workhorse. Does anyone have much knowledge regarding winterized cabs? I've managed to accumulate lots of odds and ends over the years. A few years back I got a hold of 2 complete sets of the zamac (type of metal) winterized cab kits which fit mantua locomotives. I'm wondering which railroads had them. I can guess and assume that most of the southern rails didn't but I truly have no idea.

Nice posts. K4 1361 is in Altoona Pennsylvania being slowly restored.
Check 1361 Facebook page for updates.

Hopefully we will see scenes of 1361 in action some day.
Photo from the Facebook page of 1361.

Looks natural in its Keystone Empire.

Would be great to see it highball. Not my photo. Seen near Vail Pennsylvania October 25 1987.
