Many of you new members probably don't know this member -- but a lot of us who were on here in the very beginning will. Magnolia Academy - what ever happened to this member? He had some great posts and then its like he just fell of the face of the earth. His last visit with us was Oct 06.

I have only a few things to say/ add, and then I suggest this subject be dropped for once and for all.
1) He did not drop off the face of the earth. I just happen to know this personally. I happen to know where to find him and he is still very much "active". Today.
2) Just because I know this, does not mean I wish to. And I wish I hadn't at the time. At any rate I haven't spoken to him in years, and don't plan on it anytime soon.
3) As it relates to #2: On one hand I miss MagAc; his knowledge, wit, and good humor were legendary. On the other, based on my unfortunate personal experience 2 years+ ago trying to answer this same question, I discovered he's the living embodiment of childish stubborn pride born of petty misunderstandings. Apparently not even against me at first, but I somehow got lumped into it through no fault of my own (other than being the only idiot brave enough to try talking to him) and am now also persona non grata. Now I alluded to this to a few "involved" people behind the scenes at the time... the details are not worth going into. I'll tell this much: whatever pissed him off, I admire his determination to continue leaving his nose cut off for spite, but geez... he should let it go already.
4) That said if he showed up tomorrow I would wholeheartedly welcome his return... but the rest of you need to quit holding your breath. I did long ago.
And now, as they say: let sleeping dogs lie.

| Have you tried contacting him? I got his email off his profile. I have not heard from him in a while though. I asked why he left, but he wasn't talking about it. Maybe you can convince him to return!
