Many thanks, Tony Cook, for making these scans available. I've just spent a rainy Sunday afternoon going through year by year and it's been a real eye opener. The fall of Tyco, catalogued in full colour is kind of sad and almost depressing.
I'd like to know two things from those who were around at the time. Firstly; Why wasn't US-1 electric trucking more successful? With a bit of development, it could have become the standard for HO vehicles of all kinds - like a bus and a big yellow taxi for starters! And secondly, Were the TV-themed trainsets the beginning of the end for Tyco? They must have cost a motza for the company in license fees.
