Here I have one of my more interesting additions to my HO vehicle collection:

I don't know if you can tell from this picture, but on the bottom it says "Lima Crawler", "Made In USA", and "No. 10-198", and it's not in this photo, but it also says "Mercury Toy Co."

It is a Lima Crawler, made by Mercury Toy Co. #10-198. I picked it up at a farm model show at my local Purina Farms for $2.00 on a whim that it was HO scale. When I got home I looked it up on the internet and confirmed that it was indeed 1/87 scale. I also found something else even better:

This auction site estimated the value of two of the cranes at $50-$100. I'm sure they over estimated a little on purpose to get people to bid, but still that's 25.00 per crane. The one I have has all of the original pieces, except for one of the original strings to operate the boom. It's in decent shape, too.
Anyway, I posted this in the Identification Station to find more information about it, such as when it was made, etc. So if you have any info on it, go ahead and post. Thanks,
-Jacob

Yes, actually I have already replaced the missing string with some white thread. I'm planning to mount it on my layout and use motors to control the string so it will move.
