Having a lot of trouble finding a clean used, or new, pair of the subject trucks for a GP38-2 I am putting together from parts.
I can find U boat & F7 trucks, but not the 'M' Blombergs.
Anyone know of an outlet that actually has them in stock??
Thanks

Thanks Nelson, but I think they are the wrong ones.
I pulled the shell on a GP60, which I think shares chassis with GP38-2, & the 'contact arm' [the metal strip that comes up from the side of the trucks & bends 90 degrees to take the rubbing power strip that sits atop the engine] - on the one in front of me, the right angle is above the worm gear housing - the Ebay 'A7' [what does that mean?], hasn't got the power strip coming up from the trucks then turning the right angle - which makes me think the 'A7' is not the correct truck??
Thanks

That is odd, because they all have that vertical contact, unless it's been eliminated in their new RTR versions. But it's still shown that way on Athearn's site.

Athearn Parts Search: Blomberg Truck

I would contact the seller and ask if the photo is accurate.

OOPS. I didn't notice the dummy part.

In that case, order them directly from Athearn. $16.50 for a pair.

I looked at that & it says 6 weeks delivery - which means they order for delivery out of China??

Do a Google search. It seems like everyone who sells them is backordered, so who knows how long before Athearn gets them in stock. I would buy the dummy pair from the eBay dealer, because all you really need are the sideframes.

Are you still looking for the M trucks? I know I have a bunch of Athearn M side frames and I think I may even have a set of dummy trucks I can put the M frames on them if you want. Since Chessie System never had any M trucks I swap all of my M side frames out with Bloomberg B sideframes right away.

I know this post is a few weeks old so just let me know and i'll send them to you.

I know I have a few sets so if anyone else wants some M side frames let me know. First come, first serve!
