I unveiled the paint scheme back in what, January? I finally just this week got the first side of one out of the paintshop!

Need to do the other side of this one, then 5 more complete cars. Should look great as a set. The decals are 100% custom as usual (still need to add COTS). I even made some data/warnings about the reefer unit in the end. The decals are a metallic "ice" blue I devised as an experiment, they seem reflective and change sheen under light - pretty cool.

Hey GIC,
That is some nice work you have done there! Someday I will have the equipment I need to do decals like that. Then I will have to pick up some talent LOL!
For me this week, The Great One picked these up. The Dots car and the Morton Salt car. Never had these and I love them. They are like new.

Hey GIC, that reefer is too cool.
I'm liking that Dots car a lot as well, it looks like brand new. Nice find mytyco!
As for me, well, I'll start posting some of my own cars once I get my layout running again. I've got all the roadbed I need (finally ), and now I just need to hunt down some more track!

Hi All,
Thanks MM.
microbusss, Yes the KFC is rather yellowish, It should be white like the col. Sanders picture on the side that I added. We picked it up at a flea market or something years ago. I think it lived with a smoker, and I don't mean a steam engine LOL! The Police station is a Bachmann train station.
Thanks for looking Mike

GIC what was that car originally? Or did you kitbash some stuff onto it. Your still my all time hero when it comes to this sorta thing haha.
I do have a Tyco offering this week. It was one of my friends boxcars I pulled form his layout to experiment with (there are 3 of them so I had to break it up a little).
We decided this week rather than buying any new fangled rolling stock, we are going to start upgrading the older stuff with metal wheels & hopefully kadee couplers. All of our Tyco rolling stock runs pretty much flawless, so we decided showing them a little love & maintenance would be a better investment.
