This was in a group of documents that came with an auction win. It's on watermarked bond typing paper. I have several others on the same paper. Thought it would be interesting to show.

Cool find! Wish I has seen that auction... I've only been paying sporadic attention lately. Care to post the other documents? If not I'd be interested in obtaining copies/scans if you don't mind.

Another document from the conference. BTW there's at least one typo in line 4 of the history doc.

Oh.
My.
God.

What a find! The Tyco QC process? What? Do you realize you may have proof of something that heretofore very well did not ever exist?

"QC Systems at Tyco". Why that's a bonafide frameable oxymoron!

In all seriousness I am deeply intrigued, and a little envious. What a find! I MUST see more.

No. 5, "Picture of QC at Tyco".
Umm, if you have that, I think GIC's head may explode.
By the way, I always thought there was a G in "production"? Maybe I'm just crazy.

EDIT: Well it looks like it says picture before you click on it. What a disappointment.
Still, I'm sure under the Future of QC at Tyco, it said something like "N/A"
I also like the number of returns in 1974 vs. those in 1975 section. I think I might know why so many people returned trains in 1975...

You guys are funny, in a good way.
I don't have any more on QC at Tyco but that was the outline they used at a conference with dealers I guess . I wish I had more on QC, but there is other interesting stuff.
This outline would coincide with the numbers found on colored stickers inside locos that I posted earlier!

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten about those numbers. The latest mystery from the Tyco shops, huh?

Maybe you've got something on that...

This is what they used to call camera ready art or line art in the day. This is just a sample of that art that I have. The prices are zeroed out so the dealer could add the price, I'm guessing. It appears to be unused as the day it was printed.

You're right Brian. Maybe somewhere there is more QC from TI, Tyco Industries, if we get lucky.
MM, You only want a dozen at those prices?

I'm sure that somewhere, somebody has a complete set of these documents. And they're rotting away in the attic, long forgotten.

Oh, and Alco Fan, I can't be too greedy. Although having enough slot car track to run through the entire house sounds fun!

By the way, does anyone know what "subminiature electromechanical devices" Tyco was making in WWII? I would laugh quite a bit if there were Tyco brand trip-mines out there.
