Shaygetz, who makes that Harley Davidson loco? The only reason I ask is because the radiator fans look horrible.

Hello Eric, I did not realize the headlight was that good either until I looked at the picture.
I do plan to slowly detail my engines with windows also.

Hi All,
Nice F's you got there. This is by far my favorite body style. I just can't get enough of them. Here are a couple of mine. Sorry about the poor picture quality.
This is from a Snap On train set by Life Like.
This is a Railroad Fire Dept. unit from Playart.
I hope you enjoyed them. Mike

All the detail parts were built from scratch. The train phone antena stantions are Athearn stantions, the pilot was formed from sheet styrene, the windows and headlight lens are clear plastic cut to fit and the grab irons were formed from twisty tie wire

That was a photo I took in my back yard. I was suprised it turned out that good. I took an old trash can, turned it upside down. threw som dirt on it , laid a piece of track on it and started taking photos of a few locos. Here is a photo that shows part of the trash can.

Hello DaCheez, yes it is Mantua. I bought it new a long time ago along with the Mantua VIA streamline cars.
Of course I could afford it then... BC = Before Children...
Mike
Is it just the yellow paint that is coming off DaCheez? Could be an easy mask job and paint then...

This is a Tyco F7 that was converted to an F3.

This is a Mehano F9. (sold by Model Power I think)

A Tyco f9.

These are a pair of Mantua/Tyco F7 locos that I repainted.

These are a pair of Marx F3 dummies.

This is a Globe F7.

A few of my favs by Tyco

Noticed that Mike's VIA unit by Mantua has a white CN herald on the nose. Were all of Mantua's done this way? The shell is the deluxe Gen1 version, as opposed to this Gen2 Tyco PT:

I'd like to get an ACL unit or two, they are probably my last fav I don't already have.
That Harley Davidson loco above looks like it has missiles staged for launch in the roof!

Finally managed to get the whole gang together after I talked up getting this shot awhile ago haha. Here is the current fleet.
-Left to Right- Proto 2000 F7A & F7B - Canadian National Athearn Genesis F3's (ABA) - Pennsylvania Railroad Stewart Hobbies F7 (ABBA) - New York Central Athearn Genesis F7A - Bessemer & Lake Erie Athearn F7A - B&O Model Power Metal Train F7A - Pennsylvania Railroad Model Power Metal Train twin F7A's - Canadian National Life Like F7A & F7B - Chessie System

I found out tonight we have a lead on some Kato powered B&LE F7's, might be my next purchase lol. Only two that are mine are the PRR metal train & the Chessie. Rest are my friend's ever expanding fleet of F7's.
