I just bought a Ahm GP-18 with a flashing beacon. Thge problem is, IT DON'T BLINK!!!! I solder it back on the front truck with the brown wire. It comes on, it don't does it's job. Where does this wire go?

So, the light stays on, or it won't go on?!? If it stays on, I think a circuit is broken/miswired/missing. If it won't go on, I think you might have the wrong wire...
...by all means, anyone more experienced, please, pitch in...
