I've obtained a Tyco "Blinking Microwave Tower," which I've burnt out the lightbulb as too much power created a very bright, but shortlived lifespan. Does anyone have a suggestion for a replacement? Yardbird Trains tried to help, but to no avail.

Christmas blinking light bulb. Life-like use to sell a blinking bulb that would work also for replacement--all else fails--use a regular 12-20 volt red grain of wheat bulb and connect a automotive turn signal flasher to one of the leads.

NJ international may selll a replacement bulb as they sell a blinking microwave tower. I believe it is the same as Tyco's

Minitronics sells a blinking LED, they have many sizes. They are available in red as well as white. They are 1.5 volts but come with the required resistor. I have bought a pack of 3 to add a blinking red light to a wateer tower, so far it's working well. Link to the LEDs on their site is below

No way! Chirstmas bulbs...don't...last as long.

Oh well, they're what I use all the time.
