Ahoy there Tyconauts! Checking this forum out and it looks a pretty cool place to hang. Does it matter I lack any Tyco gear?
What I have is; a handful of locos, a few more freight cars, a few less passenger cars, some unbuilt buildings and barely more than an oval of test track. Mostly budget brands because I am cheap a poor student.
Only began collecting model trains last winter so I'm still sorta green at this. But I do know it's meant to be fun and it needn't cost a bomb. So in my heart, I am Tyco - or as close as I can be.
It's good to be here!

Welcome and nice avatar... looks like something Tyco themselves would have made for their late 70's box art. I approve!

Don't worry, you're not the only one around without much Tyco stuff.
Welcome aboard, feel free to go nuts...

Neat D&H shot, catfordken! Since Alcos formed the flagship diesels of Tyco's fleet, I'm surprised they never did a PA.
Good to hear my avatar passes muster, GoingInCirclez. The old box art is made from pure groovy!
Thank you everyone for the friendly greetings. Doubt I'll have that much to contribute first up but I'm willing to read and learn. Cheers.
