Here's an Athearn I picked up at few weeks ago at the New Braunfels TX show. Five bucks unbuilt NIB.

| I have that same car--bought it new in 1984--cost me more than $5.00 bucks back then as it was a special issue. My friend bought around 10 of these to make a special MRR train. Was cool to see all of these cars running around his layout behind a black athearn undec SD9

My only Model Railroader car is this one:

Yeah, so exactly 50 years ago Tyco was still respectable to MR, apparently. But looking at how poorly that car is decorated, it might actually mark the beginning of the end? (It also looks like a chintzy covered-up B&O Sentinel Service car, but I don't know that Tyco ever made that scheme).
BTW Tom: I like the door on your car; the shop crew get back from a lunchtime bender before they hung that one? I didn't know the Athearn door could be put on upside down... I might have to sneak my own out there like that

I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?
