Hi all,
don't know if you already know, but I found out something quite interresting about the AHM wood box cars. I actually have two of them with M-K-T markings, one in yellow, the other one is orange.

The orange one is made by Roco in Austria, the yellow one is from Mehanotehnika in Yugoslavia. They look similar, many details are the same, si I thought, probably Roco sold the molds to Yugoslavia after some time.

Even if details are similar, those cars come from different molds. The Roco car is a little bit longer than the Mehano one!

I wonder why Mehano and Roco produced the same model for the same importer. Did the Roco mold (which was the earlier one) get unusable?

Martin

quote: The Roco version comes in two color schemes: One is orange with tuscan ends and roof, like the one pictured here, and a solid orange car. I have both versions of this one. the solid orange car is more common than the orange car with tuscan roof and ends.
