Great stuff huh!
Love all that track work. All those curved sidings and crossovers are begging to be modelled and they provide so much planning liberty cause you know the big boys did it!

The Map #2 area looks like it would be a blast, putting cars inside factories, plus that part has a crossing and a bridge.

Wow. I see some references to "pre-1930", I wonder how long it remained that way?
Pretty neat. The north end of the BRC Clearing Yard was very similar, serving the dense Clearing Industrial District (before it was even part of Chicago). You could see tons of curved leads and embedded track snaking through the old buildings even as recently as 15 years ago. Most of it is gone today. All the remaining plants next to one of the largest interchange yards in the US... with old switch leads... and they get served by trucks instead.

Ah Brooklyn, what a place! My ex-B-I-L lives there. Gawd, which I'd been back into trains when we visited him oftenin the 90's!
