Found these new items by Matchbox, and boy are they awesome!
The lone Rock KW cab is an Athearn HO posed for scale comparison. There were two versions of each truck, plus a cement truck I did not get because it looked way too foreign/modern compared to these.
The Western Star heavy wrecker uses a classic cab style that can pass for 30 years older... and is the closest to HO. The International dumper is the NGT from 2004, but the hydraulic bucket looks cool. And the garbge truck is a tad too modern for my layout, and perhaps larger-scaled than the other two... but check out all the articulation and moveable parts!
Can't beat 'em for $4.50 each.

I always thought Matchbox cars & trucks would be great for an HO layout... I thought about using mine someday...but with the combo train/slot car layout plan.. I don't know...

put them on it! I look for Hot Wheels & Matchbox vehicles that are close to HO gauge did y'all know that Hot Wheels had a train set? trains did fit on HO track but they were smaller in size Edited by - microbusss on March 05 2009 12:27:01 PM

did y'all know that Hot Wheels had a train set? trains did fit on HO track but they were smaller in size
