I have found following kits, they are coming witout trucks but i think there are parts missing!



only wood! is this posible ?




looks also a little bit empty!

I dont know this kits and i need a experts opinion, many thanks for your help - Erich

It may depend on the kit. I know lots of craftsman kits were (and still are) sold without trucks.

And yes, all-wood is correct. Maybe an included decal sheet at best; paint and further detailing was left to the builder. They were meant to be challenging kits using old-school materials and techniques. For a long time they were also the only way to get certain unique or rare prototypes.

The modern equivalent to these would be the cast resin kits currently made by a variety of sources. But even those do not include trucks and decals sometimes.

Got me this from Ebay. has also wooden parts and die cast, came also without trucks. looks a little bit differtent (more parts) than the boxes I first posted!

KEN : I have the silvestreak kit already!

The way it was presented on Ebay let me know that all parts are included! so it was!

The other kits (i was thinking to buy them) sugests me parts could be missing! - erich

the trucks are the weak part of these kits,for some reason they break up with age ,and are easy to replace,the other metal parts do not in most,but if other parts like ends or detail parts are missing not so easy to replace ken
