A few old pics of my Buildems buildings These were layed out on the floor for the pics. The wine colored carpet doesn't help!

Life-Like homes kits & others.. Not in the Buildems boxes though. The McDonalds kit in above photos was in its sealed box with a $2.98 sticker on it from MR. Barts.

I think you're going to need a warehouse to keep all this stuff in.

Make sure you put a good lock on it to keep us out!

Something I noticed last night is the Life-Like Kentucky Fried chicken building is really a pretty cool kit. It even has some color inside that would look neat with a light inside it. I had the KFC building on my layout in the 70's and I believe this was the first building I bought when I started collecting agian. The KFC is not hard to find nor very expensive , there is usualy several on ebay at a time. It could be detailed to look even better!

Hey Ben, Yes the restuarant buildings are cool. The McD's sells for well over a $100 everytime, Mostly in the $200 range and have seen it at $305 once!
Enjoy! Walt

At the top of this thread, the Equitable Trust Bank kit by Life-Like. I think it's a neat building for some reason. I had this building on my 1970's layout and I still think it is worthy on any layout.

Hey Ben, a Tyco Burger king sold on ebay days ago for $19.99. Boosa14 was the seller. I seen an AHM Burger King (same) sell for around $32 recently.

The last couple of Freezzees I have watched went for around $25. Pizza Hut I haven't watched the end of an auction lately.

Like a dummy, years ago I paid $72 + for a sealed Pizza Hut. Seems like they sold higher then...

Ben, Most sellers would probably let you send a postal money order if you contact them first.
