I was lucky a few weeks ago, I got this with a small lot of random manufacturer cars, this was the only Tyco in the group.

Here's a new arrival that was a bit surprising:

Had seen this one a couple times, wasn't sure of its origin. But now in hand I can clearly tell that it is factory Tyco paint job. But even more impressive, this car uses the rare original 50' boxcar tooling with unfastened wieght and smooth inner chassis - an easy sure date to 1968. The cars build date says as much too, a rare case where it actually has meaning.
Anybody have any 1968 hobby magazines that might explain how this was originally obtained (sold separately, or free bonus w/ order, or something else)?
